As you may know, this website (Flashcomguru.com) is quite a personal affair. It's not a company website nor is it a place where I reach out for work and I intend to keep it that way.
Nevertheless a lot of the work I take on (yes, I do take on some which some of you won't believe ;) is a result of this blog, the content that's on here and subsequently the traffic I get from many direct links as well as the almighty Google (I just realised that I come up third for the term 'flash video' right after the Wiki entry and Adobe..!). Do you gather that I don't check my web stats very often?
Anyway, back on topic. I get a lot of work through my blog yet I do not trade as Flashcomguru, in fact I kind of hate that label since it suggests that I am some sort of guru and so full of myself that I would call myself one - which isn't the case. The name was meant to be for the site, not me, and came as a result of Flashcomstudio.com (hands up if you remember) and in hindsight I wish I had chosen a different name. But that's water under a bridge now. Ok, I am off topic again...

Long story short, I have never written a single invoice as Flashcomguru but at the same time I feel to have outgrown the sole tradership that I was running. I needed a 'proper' company to handle the development work I undertake, and to embrace the products that I am developing. I've also started to work more closely with some very clever partners and the time was right to step things up a gear, and to have a more distinct line drawn between personal blog and actual work.
I introduce to you muchosmedia. The website (if you can call it that right now) is still very slim and not complete but I do intend to post my project and product related work there, rather than here on my blog. The reasoning behind that is that the content on Flashcomguru.com should be kept on topic with as little marketing bull as possible. I'll undoubtedly have some overlap here and there but as a rule of thumb you will see what you've always seen on Flashcomguru.com and find out about my daily 9-5 grind (only kidding) over at muchosmedia.

My company has been trading since April and I'm slowly winding down my sole tradership. The goal is to make a strong move towards Flash and Flex based products (usually involving FMS) rather than project based work. Just keep checking the muchosmedia website for updates - there's an RSS feed, too.
Of course I am still interested in receiving your project requests (especially if they are fairly short assignments) but due to a busy schedule I may not always be able to fulfill every single one of them.

Let's open a new chapter. Muchosmedia FTW!
