Here's a live feed using the new Flash Media Encoder.
I am broadcasting a video only stream (no audio) using VP6 at 200kbps, 12fps. The camera is a standard USB webcam from Creative. Note that this blog post will only make sense for today while I am running the broadcast...

I was wondering about more than one camera, so the user could switch views...

Think about RedBull CoPilot when the user switches views, for example... but live!!!
FMS handles everything else, I guess...

One problem we've run into.. maybe someone can help... is that it seems to take about 5 mins for an instance on FMS that was improperly disconnected to clear (loss of internet connection, for example). As the encoder tries to reconnect, it gets a bad publish name (name already in use). If I remember correctly, there is a setting in the server config file for this, but it has a minimum, which it was default set to. Any way to get around that minimum???
