Digital Rapids is adding support for On2's VP6 Flash Video codec to its range of encoding solutions. The company announced its plans at IBC in Amsterdam.
Alongside On2's Flix 8 Live application this will be the second product to market to offer live Flash Video encoding capabilities. The Flash Player itself only support Sorenson Spark as a live encoding codec while VP6 is supported for video playback.
